“To Revenge or Not to Revenge?”

Ever heard the phrase, “Something Wicked This Way Comes?” Author, Ashley Fontainne’s, novel ‘Adjusting Journal Entries’ is wickedly entertaining, thought provoking, and just all together thrilling!

When you think of big time director's in Hollywood - what comes to mind? Maybe egotistic, self-seeking...well, you would be dead wrong! I can tell you from personal experience that Mr. Mastroianni is anything but that! In October of 2011, my co-author of 'Six-Pack of Blood', Betty Dravis, approached Mr. Mastroianni about possibly reading our book of short stories and granting us a foreword for the book. Now anyone that knows my co-author, Betty Dravis, knows that she is a legend herself - a remarkable writer, journalist, celebrity interviewer, and list goes on. She isn't shy to go for the gold and nine out of ten times - she gets it...! Remember now that we are talking about asking the legendary Mr. Mastroianni to not only read our self-published book of short stories, but asking him to write the foreword as well. Accountable to None, by Ashley Fontainne, is more than just a tale about revenge – much more. It is a story about the human spirit – the human endurance structure that is woven throughout each and every one of us. There comes a time in all of our lives when we feel that we have been victimized in one way or another. Do we select to seek out revenge – or do we simply choose to forgive our attacker? Justice must always be served!

Audra is a beautiful and intelligent CPA at an accounting firm in Phoenix, Arizona. Her boss, Olin Kemper, is a belligerent, power seeking, maniacal sex-crazed maniac. Upon being lured into a meeting with him on the assumption of a possible promotion, he sexually assaults her while others turn a blind eye. I will not get into details, as I want the reader to experience first hand the authors’ realistic description of this horrific event.

Fast-forward and we find Audra is now head of the IT department. Using her computer skills, she hacks into their security system looking for anything that will incriminate those responsible for her suffering. This is where the story strikes a dramatic turn of events.

In ‘Accountable to None’, Ashley Fontainne weaves a suspenseful tale of murder, revenge and justice – perfectly balanced.

I give Five Stars to this spellbinding thriller. Bravo!

Hold on to your seat – “A Work in Progress” is an exhilarating ride”

Fast paced, ‘A Work in Progress’ will make you late for supper and keep you up way past your bedtime – you will not want to put it down until the last page is turned. Well developed characters and a plot with many twists and turns make this thriller a winner.

The main character, Jeremy Jackson, is a financial wizard, so to speak. However, where there is money, there are always investors – and not always legitimate. Money laundering, conspiracy theories – who can he trust? His body is aching and his mind is growing wearier by the day. He receives a letter from his darling wife, Cassie, in which she informs him that she and the children have been taken captive. She tells him that the house is bugged and that her involvement was all an act in order to try to save them. Is this a trap - another set-up, or could she be telling the truth? Are there terrorist involved?

Non-stop action, heroic characters, and ultimate suspense make this an electrifying thriller – one ‘Oliver Stone’ would be proud of! If you are a fan of ‘John Grisham’s work, then I think you will enjoy reading ‘A Work in Progress’ by Larry Sheridan – as this author too has a promising skill for writing in the thriller genre!
