Welcome Scott P. Carroll - Chief editor of the online Literary Magazine, Silent Things...
I would like to introduce to you a new writer acquaintance of mine by the name of, Scott P. Carroll. He is the chief editor of the online literary magazine, Silent Things. I hope you'll give him a warm welcome and visit his site.
Below is a quote from Scott - courtesy of his blog...
This is a play on a famous saying where ‘love’ is usually in place of the word creativity, but it’s a very similar process and it applies well in this scenario. As a writer, you’re trying to seduce this idea or feeling and translate it into a series of words that’s both beautiful and functional, and it’s very similar to love in that there is no right or wrong way to go about it. It depends on you, your audience, and what you want to say.
Words for thought indeed! How many of you agree with Scott? Drop me a line and let me know - better yet stop by Scott's site and post your thoughts!
